Mentoring
The mentoring program is designed to assist individual students who would like to explore printmaking in depth and develop a skill and knowledge base that will allow for eventual professional practice.
Andrew Antoniou's experience in teaching spans 30 years and includes students from middle school to masters graduates. His printmaking experience ranges from editioning to teaching to a professional art practice and co-management of a contemporary art gallery.
Antpress is well set up to accommodate the serious student with its Hansell press, easy & safe working environment, and expert tuition.
The mentoring program will span 20 weeks organised into four 5 week sessions - one day a week. A course outline will be devised especially to meet your needs, interests and desired outcomes. An emphasis will be placed on professional practices and proficiency in particular printmaking techniques. It may be possible to provide showing space at the end of the mentoring program depending on the body of work produced and showing space available locally.
The mentoring program is an economically viable way to receive one on one tutoring. The achievements, skills and knowledge you gain will be invaluable in your pursuit of a career in the arts or in your development as an artist. This study plan can be organised for beginners.
Program cost is $6000 and includes some materials. Please contact Andrew Antoniou to discuss an individual program.
